At the hub of a larger network of community resources in downtown Olympia, FGCC cultivates an inviting natural environment where visitors can experience first-hand what green neighborhood development looks like.
We’re inviting everyone to come and learn by experience how permaculture principles apply to food production, waste management, water resources, energy conservation and local economics.
By providing opportunities for education and celebration, our community perennially reaps the benefits of what’s germinating in this beautiful green space.
Our neighborhood’s thriving mixed-use development also allows micro-enterprises to bloom alongside residences, providing easy access to services. Thanks to partnerships with individuals, agencies and local businesses, our inspiring model has propagated to other neighborhoods where people gather to harvest inclusive, respectful support from one another in natural environments.
