I first discovered The Permaculture Designers Manual in 1989 which began a persistant interest in human habitat design.

My employment background includes 1 year in organic agriculture, 3 years in instutional landscape maintenance, 3 years in retail nursery, 4 years in residential landscape design install, 6 years in restoration ecology, 2 years in outdoor environmental education.

I have earned 3 U.S. university degrees related to ecological design: B.A. Environmental Design, B.S. Ecological Sciences, M.S. Ecosystem Sciences/Environmental Horticulture
